Really? Holy crap, I'm there - hope it's available for UK buyers as well. Just what I've been waiting for.

Edit: Nope - amazon.co.uk only seems to have FoTS boxed limited edition - but still, £9.99's not a bad price. First though, I'm going to see if I can get the digital version from amazon.com.

What? Game downloads are only available for US customers. Why? Bloody hell, that sucks! Oh well, I might pick it up anyway for £9.99 from amazon.co.uk - it's not going to go any lower than that in a Steam sale, it's still £24.99 on Steam!

It's time like this that makes me wonder if it really worth that difference of €20 just for having FotS a few months earlier. To make things worse, today I just saw Shogun 2 for 8 or 9€, about 5 times cheaper than I got it.

You get a steam key I assume. Steam is the only way to play

Yea that's what I was assuming, just got thrown off by the file size and download time estimate. Figured they had some BS amazon client now that ea has origin. I'll try it out, worth the $7.49

EDIT: Quick question, anyone think it's worth the 19.49 for the boxed limited edition? IE does the extra content add up to be more if sold seperately?

You get Saga faction and a heavily photoshopped poster

However the DL is going to be very small, as it includes all the data for both S2 and I assume all patches up to FotS release, which may be a significant advantage (30GB isnt for everyone)

Just got it and loaded up the CD Key and it works just fine. I love it when you can get games cheaper than on steam then turn around and put the CD key into steam and have all the benefits of it, haha.

Picked it up for £9.99 from amazon.co.uk (limited Ed.) - few quid more than the amazon.com offer, but still a damn good price.
