Egypt/questions thread, only one Rome ?

Why is egypt not in the mod ? It was the one of the funniest factions to fight against. And I love their culture and stuff. I haven´t played for a long time and haven´t got to the land egypt yet but I still wanna have them as playable instead of something else like the selucids :S It is a taste thing but in the original game egypt were just so much more fun.

Anyway I also wonder if there is a questions thread for things like these ? Just asking simple questions like this doesn´t need its own thread. Sorry if I´m just blind like with the download links xD

Everything is great and so on exept the egypt part. And that there are only one roman faction. It was the best part/core of the game where you start as one of the house and fight to become emperor. Which makes rome boring and you rather play as something else. Don´t know why so many modders takes it away :S.

Other than thoose too everything is great and it looks awesome and made me come back to Rome once again Thanks guys !


EDIT: I know it´s to late to add the other Roman houses but Egypt would be cool to have in an upcoming update

Egypt at this time was ruled by thePtolemaic kingdom which was under Greek rulers not a pharaoh.

Egypt is in the game as it truly was for that period, i.e. Ptolemaic Egypt. Not the Egypt from 2500 B.C.

The Ptolemaic Empire is the Egypt Faction in this game (I am kind of wonder why they have Egyptian, not Greek culture).
The original faction was fun until you realized it was complete anachronistic.

I have one more question (hope this is the last one) I´ve noticed that the greeks have a very weird flag both on the campagne map and in battle. It looks like an orange angry face :S haahah ! Is it a bug or did I install it wrong ? To install the patch I had to copy and past the folder because a normal install didn´t work for me even though a put it in the right folder and it just made its own folder rather than updating the game. But all others looks like they should exept greek.
