Where I can recruit Templars and Hospitallers?

I know there is only a few cities where you can recruit then with the right faction... but what cities are those?

I saw a list in this forum one time but I never found it again...
I want those bastards without going to Middle East, where I know I can find then in Jerusalem, Acre and Damascus.

Templar - Toulouse, Edessa, Antioch, Aleppo, Damascus, Acre, Jerusalem, Tortosa, Clermont

Ok... the submod I'm using change some cities and remove one of those. What file, and what in that file, should I edit to make possible to recruit Templars and Hospitallers in one citie? It will be save compatible?

First go to export_descr_buildings, and find the hidden resources that are required in order to build the Hospitaller and Templar chapters. Then go into data/world/maps/base/descr_regions.txt and find all of the regions that contain that hidden resource. If you would like to be able to build these chapter houses in more regions, simply add the hidden resources to more regions. Delete the map.rwm file located in the same folder after you make the changes. The game will automatically generate a new map.rwm the next time you start up the game. No, this is not save game compatible.

That's not exactly accurate. You can simply remove the hidden resource requirement or add more hidden resources to the building requirement in order to be able to build it in more places. You only have to start a new campaign if you want to dictate exactly in which cities you want to be able to recruit them.

Can I ask... what do you have to do to be able to build the chapterhouse? I have just 1 place I can recruit knights hospitaller at the moment... Antioch. But I also own Acre which the list above says can have the chapterhouse. So is there an event or something I need to do to be able to build the chapterhouse there?

It requires a "city" level settlement. This means at least a level 3 town (Stone Wall) or a level 4 castle (Fortress). You also can't build a Hospitaller and Templar building in the same settlement. One one.

I just altered my English Knights and Dismounted English knights to look identical to the Hospitallers with slightly better stats, but huge upkeep and purchase costs. I also altered the descriptions so when you click on the unit it tells the reason why the English knights look like the Hospitallers, how they fights and such. Its pretty sweet, but took a lot of work.
