Finally I can send my army in the same general direction
Gonna be awesome that it actually pays to harrass enemies with your generals.
Nice one![]()

hello vragos,
I have tried out your mod and it worked really well didn't interfer with the game but I was wondering are you capable of increasing say the leading general to 20 exp and any secondary generals in or out of the army to 15 because I have trouble leveling up more that 2 generals to a descent level could you help out.
[no offense ..but on a 2nd thought...lol]
This mod makes it insanely easy to level up all your generals in one friggin army, and you can't manage to get enough xp for your main force? are you a turtle-player..?
edit: don't mind my while I am drunken..but honestly, if you can even level your main army, then you should take the fault yourself.

hello valky
kind of in other games not this one.it's just when i go to war unless something really drastic happens like a major upset defeat normally the computer sends the entire army in one block it gets crushed then i just go along there provinces.
take an example one army two fights if it some of it escapes and three provinces all in one fight siege thats say 50 points for one general know depending on the level it could be considered. now if you think as a min there is your daimyo, son and four commisioners know they could be posted on the border the otherside of your lands with an alliance so you keep them there just cover you so they don't surpise you.
so say you have maybe 1 to 3 of the generals fighting the war thats at most 50 points + supports if in range(this is without the mod) on normal campaign so if you say it takes 300 to 400 exp to get one general to level 6 then thats 30 to 40 fights just for the leader of an army times it by 6 at min thats getting towards 2000 to 2400 experiences know with 10 exp a pop you are going to have a hard times really ever getting the general to a level where bonus start having a real impact.
so if you take my example with no more generals than the 6 I said thats hundreads of battle you still would only just get to level them and before that there even die of old age, battle, bribed, or assasinated then have to fill the void with a fresh general. so it really isn't that much to ask because when it was originally released as you nay know it was 15 points for the leading general at that took a while. so when they decrease the it in the giants update and increased the agents in the base I was bit confused becaus they obviously realised they took to long to level up because like battles you wouldn't always use them everytime so they didn't up or as before something happens to them.
what I thought would be cool is that if they made a tool for the player to decide the level of experience you where awarded to generals/agents to make the game more customised to the player and make it harder if you decided to lower the experience?
what do you think?
I don't mind making a version or two with different XP gains.
I was thinking someting along these paths:
AI "cheat":
Leading General Victory: Player 10, AI 20
Leading General Defeat: Player 8, AI 16
Supporting General: Player 8, AI 16
Boosted XP
Leading General Victory: Player 20, AI 20
Leading General Defeat: Player 16, AI 16
Supporting General: PLayer 16, AI 16
Boosted, AI "cheat":
Leading General Victory: Player 20, AI 40
Leading General Defeat: Player 16, AI 32
Supporting General: Player 16, AI 32
The AI do loose their generals more often than the player, so I don't think it will be completely unfair to give it a boost.
The inital release of this mod suits me fine personally, but modding is all about choices - so if there is an interest in very quickly leveling generals, I don't mind making a version to accomodate that.
Let me know what you think, and I'll get to work on it.
hello vragos
thanks for getting back the boosted one sounds cool where everybody gets the increase if you could do it like the movie.pack file as before that would be epic because the original one you did work fine when I tested it on the chosokabe in a new campaign is it okay is the support/defeating general is 15 exp and lead win is 20. and I would guess when you post it would be in a new file title name?
Just tried the mode last night worked fine no problems on my end. for any one who isn't happy with the experience being reduce down in the last few updates.
thanks to vragos
Clap clap...nice mods
It seems like the double XP one doesn't work in FotS. It just gives me your regular bonus XP.

Nice Dude. Must share always..
this is just what i needed thanks man!
How do I see this I do not think it is working for me? I look at my generals experience after a fight and the supporting general gets nothing
I do not think this is working for me I dont see xp in the supporting general area All I do is extract and goes into the data folder within the steam folder

I love this mod, though I sort of want something in-between the two lol.
Is anyone able to provide an alternative link for the regular, 10/7 exp pack file?
I'm only able to download the double exp, and its not to my tastes.
Thanks.
awesome but i can't download it
Even though this post is out of date, let me push it. This is such an essential mod for the game... All this micromanagement be4 starting an attack or defense is just annoying. It took me a bit to find a standalone version (radious has this feature implemented in one of his mods). I am really happy i found this one! Thanks alot!
You should consider upping it to steam workshop. Might me alot of ppl interested in this one i think.
I wouldn't mind a version where generals in town (as governers so to say) gain a bit xp too, since it's only logical. ^_^
