What exactly qualifies as off-topic spam?

Badgers. Elephants, on the other hand, are highly relevant to important TRS-related matters

But seriously, anything that's not related to RPGs/proposals or the RPG community is off-topic.

What exactly qualifies as related to CPRGs?

On a slightly different note, perhaps a new incarnation of the Palace of Prattle would be a fitting service to Ponti?

Maybe this should be moved to the main subforum then, seeing as it isn't just for discussing the Consulate.

Well, it's primarily intended to facilitate discussion about the proposals.

I have for about a year wanted to create a cloak and dagger RPG based in the setting of the Bartimaeus Trilogy written by Jonathan Stroud.

The most ideal time in their history would properly be the Victorian
Era Where in this setting, William Ewart Gladstone took power and led England into a brutal war to expand the empire.

I don't know if we would be to play in England but it is a possibility.

Another possible time is that of an Egyptian setting, at 1550–1070 BC Egypt began with the Eighteenth Dynasty, marking the rise of Egypt as an international power that expanded during its greatest extension to an empire as far south as Tombos in Nubia, and included parts of the Levant in the east. This period is noted for some of the most well known Pharaohs, including Hatshepsut, Thutmose III, Akhenaten and his wife Nefertiti, Tutankhamun and Ramesses II.

Though I fear too little is known about this period to keep interest.

So, The Victorian age with a clear set of Magic, which if you've read the books understand. They can be put into rules quite easily. Of-course, This is a game of politics, not one person trusts another. There is no Elections, Gladstone took the post as prime minister by scheme and force as the Prime Minister before him did with the prime minister before him. IF they die by other means, their pupil take their place. And so on.

Humans without Magic is suppressed of-course. Peasants Pfft. They are good for cleaning, making food and such trivial simple work.

    What do people think?

The pitch sounds interesting Narf, but I've always maintained that you can have an RPG set in a kitchen (the objective of which is to cook food) and it'll be fun as long as the mechanics are well thought out, simple and something people want to do. Rather than a chore off to one side.

I am good with sensible rules. I just want to know if there is interest for this before I spend 40+ Hours making this Cloak'n Dagger RPG rule Set.

Speaking of having magic elements, this could be an idea. I could help get it off the ground, and even moderate, but not lead.

    Age of the Pirates
    Map: Amercias

Factions: Pirate Lords, Spanish and Portuguese Armadas, and Merchants.
The pirate lords would be the main focus.

Each pirate would start with a basic ship. The ship would be upgraded along the course of the game. Ship battles and looting would go a great deal too. There would be special items -> both ordinary weapons and magical items too.

Pretty good idea. No real order of things, everyone out for one another. Could be fun if done right.

    How about a Vikings one?
You could start off as a lowly raider, and could work your way up to become a sea captain of an entire fleet.

I think there is some secret joke here.

Very bad, keeping jokes to yourself.

EDIT: This one. I hope this is the right place for reminders.
