I have two technical questions which are the most important for me:
1. Will Rome Total War II be programmed to max out and optimize quad core performance? Napoleon and Empire were big dissappointments for me because I had a very good high-end system, that however terribly lagged because these two games were only able to use two of the four cores.
2. Will Rome Total War II be programmed to use and max out dual core GPU performance possibilities (like those of the GTX690 or HD6990)?
To be honest: the Total War games were always the biggest factor when it came to buying a new PC. I built my PCs myself and was always the most concerned about using graphic cards and processors, which had given the best results in Total War gaming. Nothing else would have convinced me to spending so much money, but I simply love these games.

will you be able to customize your legion cosmetically? like custom shield designs, flags, uniforms and etc?
There are a lot of great mds for RTW. Will you use their experience in your game?
Will you return back reinforcement system from "Kingdoms"?

Shogun 2 and FOTS allows you wo play up to 40 units in battle. Basically you are controlling 2 stacks at the same time.
Med2/Kingdoms system you control manually 1 full stach (20 units) and anither stack you can basically just command attack/defend (IIRC). The second stack you can't control manually each units.
In ETW and NTW and also Shogun 2 before FOTS reinforcement comes in unit by unit as you can only control max 20 units in battle.

I prefer if the closest to pre-order content be limited things like factions.
Like Macedon, Thrace, Scythians, Britons being playable.
DarthShizNit i see.
I have not played FotS.
Another one question - There was cool feature in original RTW, same terrain on campaign and battle maps. Battle maps was generated according to the campaign map objects and terrain. It is huge part of strategy in the game. Please, return this back.

The TW website seems to imply a choice as to how to play the game as a Roman--you're not forced to make a play for ultimate power like you were in RTW. Does this mean you could be pro-Senate, and a champion of the Republic? Also, is the Senate still in the game and how will it work since you indicated the Romans are probably going to be a single faction--will it be extremely basic like MTW2's council of nobles giving missions, or will it still have a detailed panel with missions, Senate standing, and their views on what policy choices you should make?
I guess it's a long question, but it's basically just all about the Senate. :p
I agree. It is important not to break SLI/CF support. Shogun 2 doesn't scale properly in naval battles either with CF or SLI.
it saddens me how few people understood how "exclusive content" was meant to be understood.
Anyway, any info for us players who like to roleplay their characters? The whole legion thing seems like it could really enhance it by giving characters added benefits if they fight with "their" legion(s), maybe you could even simulate the whole Julius Caesar/civil war thing with legions being loyal to their commander rather than the faction.
And while I thought Shogun 2 had a really solid game underneath all the complaints about unit variety and the setting, the traits system just seemed so bland. I want fluff: loads of retainers, interesting traits, access to gear perhaps even,... just anything to ,make your characters come alive0
Some day I'll actually write all the reviews I keep promising...
That would be interesting Manco. In a way you could have armies rebel if the general has low loyalty or something. Since ETW you can have rebellion factions so I wonder what they can do with Rome in terms of rebellions. Will it be a single Roman faction or will tribes also be able to rebel and form states.
HI..for 100% i will buy collector's edition..so i think there should be a nice quality map of roman empirenice big cards of soldiers fighting, conquering towns and weapons as roman sword etc..(as u made in Medieval 2 ) and some little statue of roman soldier or something like that..then DVD's from making of Rome2....in game there should be some extra code,so you can get some special roman unit's or whatever..i think its gonna be nice bonus for people who will decide to buy Collector's Edition and who will pay for that...Put much as u can in to it....dont save
...although it will cost more money...i will pay even £100 if needed

Queen Boudica better be in the game there is nothing like a powerfull woman blowing a big horn.
Warrior women did exist...
Anyhow exclusive content better not be factions as i want them all at the start. And i do not want elite units DLC.I want all the units in the game.Maybe a statue or something?Or a map...
Even though i pre ordered Napoleon and got elite units but still had to wait till now to get the Grand Battery and Scots grey.I hate not having all the factions and units in the game.Maybe im just weird like that.
I would like to see Rome 2 easily moddable as it does seem to make people happy.
And a happy customer comes back for more.
