My general is a scholar and a gentleman.. I.E Gains more from education.

So, my question is; how do I send my character back to school? And how will I be able to pick what type of school to send him to?

I'm not sure about choosing the trait you want to give him. I'm not even sure you can do it.

But for sure, you need to send your character in a settlement with a school or university and leave him there for 1 or 2 turns at least.

Until age 20 characters can learn a lot if stationed in a city with school and university, but you cannot choose what they get. After that age the chances to get more good traits from these building decreases.

I usually wait until they get bachelor's of arts before I ship them off, the chances for the other traits aren't good enough for me to keep them in school
