What just happened?

I've been playing RTW and other TW games and I've always played online and just a couple of days ago, when I clicked online battles and when its loading it freezes and nothing happens and I have to shut off my computer this happens every time, what can I do? do I reinstall? or what? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Why do you have to shut off your system? Does it BSOD? Do you get a black screen? Does it present any error message?

A reinstall may work but your problem could be hardware related - as in your system could be on the old side and hasn't been cleaned out in awhile. Heat may be an issue. Another possible is a router issue - unlikely unless you've changed hardware recently.

You've given us very little to work with but we'll try to help in any case. Are there any more particulars you could give us? Good luck!

Is your system always plugged into the Internet via Ethernet? Or is that system plugged in on WiFi?

Last question - Can you go into the Task Manager and kill the Rome process? Good luck!
