Default CTD when starting a campaign

    hey guys,

I'm having a little trouble with this mod. I've re-installed both 3.6 and 3.4 twice but each time I can't start a campaign. I'm able to choose my faction, difficulty and all that but once I hit start the game crashes. That's not my only problem, it's not major but my game seems to only want to run in a windowed mode. I'm unable to change the window to fullscreen, but I'm sure it's nothing major. Can anyone help me?

    thanks.

I assume you mean 6.3 and 6.4,and that you have installed them as an administrator to a folder like C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\SS6.3

Are you using a steam version?
What does it say in C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\SS6.3\system.log.txt file

You should have to install a SS6.3.exe file which has 5 bin files associated with it.
After that run the SS6.4.exe file

Which options did you tick when you ran the setup?

Basically the more info you give, the better the chance someone has of helping

Where I came up with 3.6 and 3.4 I have no idea. But yes I meant 6.3 and 6.4. I am not using a steam version and yes I have installed them as an administrator. My 6.3 did have 5 bin files when I installed it and yes I installed 6.4 right after by running the .exe file. I believe I only ticked off "Savage Mode", the description was something along the lines of " A balance between peace and war." I also picked the early campaign. I hope that's enough info. Information regarding my computer specs, I should be able to run this game easily seeing as running Shogun 2 on ultra doesn't effect my machine. Sorry for all the mistakes I was tired when I wrote it and I am still tired.

    thanks for the help!

have a look at the error log file, for windows 7 its in something like:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\SS6.3\system.log.txt

Its a basic text file that normally lists why the game crashed.
