The game looks very impressive so far but it's really too short to say anything deeper.

Yes there are many details still lacking from the unit models such as belts on the chain mail and a much greater variety of symbols on shields.

    That was really well done.

Well, maybe its me being a little too cynical but I don´t really see any reason to be hyped about a 30 second trailer that didn´t even seem to show much gameplay.

Still... the game looks pretty nice.

There were trailers for Rome I that looked epic but the thing is that the game didn't ended up like it was planned to.

I hope for Rome II they will finish the game to the end.

I cant even understand people who complain, damn, that video is far beyond what i have expected and it is way way pre alpha.

The thing i loved most of all personally is the city it self, it is amazing extra detailed and it looks so realistic.
As long as the game looks like the video it is perfect, and even without the belts(no iam kidding!)
I can only imagine what a battle of Roman legions like the ones depicted in the video against the Macedonian phalanx will look like in Rome 2 total war, it will be epic, just like a movie, i predict that the first week of the games release will be a week that i will mostly spend playing it.

    About the English accents....
They are probably going to use a neutral accent or the traditional "light British" that you see in many movies....such as Gladiator. It is not really a bad decision....I love that movie. Also, like someone previously posted, voice actors using an accent of the culture they are acting is not always good, and can sound very fake at times. Which in my humble opinion would be worse than the classical light British accent.

you hit the nail on the head there..

    it's VIDEO not GAMEPLAY.

so whilst its a nice video it is no way indicative of how the game will run i.e GAMEPLAY.

    therefore misleading.

sorry but i dont get my hopes up on how a game will be because of what is more or a less a teaser trailer or vid.

    get real people.

I also love that accent. Anyway someone mentioned he can't wait to see legionnaries fights vs macedon hoplites... me too Also vs chariots, and elephants.
