    I seem to remember the romans did but it took FOREVER to get them, and by the time you'd just outfitted all your armies with archers and principes etc The marian reforms would come and then everything you'd judt built was outdated and definitely no good for fighting the senate.

    Got the magazine 'Gameplay' (Dutch magazine) with the same pic's from the first page of this thread and the pic's indeed look much much beter then on the first page on this thread, much more detaillled etc.

    I really wonder if that screenshots aren´t processed in any way... If they are not I´d be more than delighted. I´m talking about the over all colouring, that looks kinda... antique or something. Second thing I noticed was the smoke that climbs really high up before it disappears. Only a little detail but it bothered me anyway even in Shogun2.
    The Carthago map looks epic. I expected something like that already in Shogun 2. Everything looks really really nice as far anybody can tell from that two screenies. I wish they would show us the whole video...
