Great news. Rome II is certainly what I'd have wanted next. I hope they'll keep the faction diversity they had in the first one.

Wow. There's one thing I don't like though... The fact that they moved the "Geisha" in Rome. I don't want all that crap to be ported in R2. I just want R2.

I am going to bet money on the fact that the screenshot of the city is Carthage. I also want to say that Carthage is the city that is burning in the background of their banner, purely because it's by the sea and there are ships in the background.

Plus, it's the only city they've mentioned besides Rome itself

Not only that, but it seems as though it's accurate. The famous Port of Carthage is there, along with a relatively accurate coastline, temple districts, etc.




That means Carthage is a custom city. That is by far the best news we have so far. CA is hitting the books and making an effort to be historically accurate. Let's just hope their shortcomings can be fixed with mods though.
