Ask the M2TW technical forum and post your dxdiag there (it's the fourth line from the top of the M2TW general discussion forum). The most basic things you can do are to reduce your video resolution and other settings, delete temporary files, create some extra hard disk space if your hard disk is crowded, do a virus scan, turn off any unecessary background processes, check msconfig for unnecessary startup items, and failing all that, install extra memory, buy a new video card or a new computer - actually a second hand video card and/or computer would be good enough.

    how many gigabytes of RAM
    what kind of processor
    what video card

    press the start button
    choose "run"
    type "dxdiag"
    wait a few seconds
the processor and memory (RAM) will be on the first page
the video card on the third page (display)

That's plenty RAM, but your processor is probably a bit weak without a separate graphics card. If you're using large or huge unit sizes then reducing those to normal size should help as well as the steps outlined by Sitalkes above. Also have you played with the graphics options in the menu? Go into custom settings and turn off reflections, shadows, v-sync and try dialling down some of the detail levels to medium or low. You could start by setting everything off and low and then experiment with increasing certain settings and seeing how they affect performance.

this is like a greek tragedy..
your computer is unsuited for games
im not sure that trying to enhance it with a video card is the right way to go
its not that its a piece of garbage, its just unsuited for games
its like you bought a semitrailer, which is worth a lot of money, but then tried racing in it

we have a sub forum for technology related issues
    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=8

im betting the moderators there are knowledgeable enough to give you the best advice
