Default Ducklands - Series of Maps Designed for Multiplayer

    Hi all,

I've recently started the project of creating custom maps designed to provide players with tactical challenges and dilemmas. The first two maps of the series are now ready. These maps are primarily designed with team battles in mind, but later on I will be releasing some 1v1 focused maps as well.

You can get the maps from here: http://forums.totalwar.org/vb/local_...d=274&id=10214

    Bishamon's Landing:

A map situated on the slopes of a mountain as it gently slides down into the ocean. The deployment zones lie in the North and the West of the battlefield, on the upper slopes of the mountain, while the important shrine of Bishamon lies on a small island adjacent to the shore furthest away to the southeast. Teams are forced to divide their attention between climbing the mountainside, attacking their enemy and racing down towards the shore to claim the shrine. The layout of the map creates frantic battles as teams race to claim the advantages offered by the terrain.

    Highland Stream:

A map dominated by a small stream with steep banks running diagonally through a highland plateau. The stream divides the battlefield and the opposing teams in two. Both teams have a hill advantage on the right flank, which means that teams will be forced to balance between attacking on the right and holding on the left, with the stream making it hard to hold a cohesive line through the center.

(I'll put up some pics and videos when I get the chance)
