cant play as teutonic order in 6.4?

how do i play as teutonic order, when i go to start a new early campaign they are not there as a faction to choose from.
If i try a custom battle i can choose them in there

Also when i go to C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods I only see 6.3 there as a mod not 6.4 anywhere but i have 6.4 in loading screens and setup and launcher is 6.4.

Any help would be great, i only ever play as England and would love to play as the teutonic order.

(any other good factions ppl can advise?)

You can't play as the Teutonic Order in the Early Campaign, you can only play as it in the late campaign unless you do a little bit of modding.

how do I change to the late campaign then? i only have the eary option showing and i cant change it


also if i need to do clean install should i do it for the game as well as SS all from scratch again?

You need to run SS_setup to change game options. You find it from mods folder, SS section.

That's because you selected the early campaign when you set up the mod. Run the SS setup in the SS6.3 folder in order to change to a late campaign.

could i switch back to early and at some point later and still be able to play my early campaign save game?

Not 100% sure, but I don't believe save games are affected when you switch campaign eras. So yes, I think you should be able to return to an early era save game later on.

Save games only change the folder name. Changing between eras does literally nothing to your saves.
