Help:Crashing and shutting down

Hey I have been having problems with my Shogun total war 2/fos crashing and shutting which is dosent make sense to me as i have 4 gb of Ram. I have cleaned the dust inside the computer but it still seems to crash. After it crashes it seems to take sometime before my computer starts up again. It mainly crashes during battles.
