Loading saves question

I have a question. The battles are getting kind of long and sometimes I have multiple battles during the other factions turns. If I save after one battle, but right before another battle (when the battle screen pops up), and quit the game, will the game be messed up if I load the game but don't get to activate the script until the end of the other factions turns.

Like:

End Turn -> Battle -> Save -> Load -> Battle -> Begin Turn

I can't activate the script again until I begin my turn. So if I load, will it corrupt my game?

I know it's been fixed in 2.6, but hopefully it won't affect anything important.

I just started playing again and all my old saves were on 2.0, so I am currently finishing my campaign with 2.0. After I finish, I will patch it.

I know. But I probably wont finish anytime soon either. This mod is actually challenging. Thanks for the help though.
