Ospreys lakedaimonian

A while ago a model was produced of a lakedaimonian which was identical to the Osprey's books Spartans. All credit goes to Andriyko who produced the model and i think it was maximusminimus who produced a skin (which i unfortunately never got to download unless it was the one with the model). That model inspired me to do some skinning for the first time so i bought paint shop pro. I retextured the downloaded skin template to my own tastes particulary the tunic and body (credit goes to i think Meterix for the shield). Pictures in a zip file;

The Spartan generals plume is not quite right and i dont have a permanent 3ds max to correct it (not that i would know how anyway).

I was wondering if a kind modeller would correct this for me and produce if possible Lods (can live without them though) for the model as it only has one CAS model. Also i use RTW 1.2 and i dont think this model works with 1.5 is there any way of converting it so i can upgrade to 1.5 and still use my favourite model.

I hate to be the guy who asks you to do more work, but it would be real cool if you made a version with a linthorax and one with a bronze cuirass (either bell or muscle).

Anyways, I love what you've done with this excellent model, do you plane on realeasing it?

i think the model is still available somewhere for download, as for my version of the texture i was planning of sharing it along with my other greek textures but id like to finish them first. As for making a version with linthorax and one with a bronze cuirass is something beyond my expertise as they require different models but if i get some time i might try it on this model.

p.s I might be able to help you if its a simple case of moving something around in 3dsmax, but if its a mapping issue I've not got round to learning that bit yet

Ive traced the thread this morning, it was in the Skins, Objects and Animations forum; Lacedemonian: red tunic--no armor--pylos w/ plume 04-23-2005 by Andriyko. (i searched threads by his name) and there was another one called Fresh Spartan Idea. They have some nice pictures of osprey scans and the model when being developed. See PM Kali :original:

While you're at it, change the spears. Those are Macedonian sarissae, not 7-9 foot Hoplite spears.

Are these models still to be found somewhere? Maybe they are part of a released mod or uploaded someplace as a skinpack...
The attached file contains only picture from what I`ve seen. And I can`t find any of the mentioned threads either. Any help locating them would be welcomed. Thank you!

Finding the model was easy, (search the OP's 'threads started''

) but it doesn't have a texture, searching the posts of andriyko doesn't give it up either and he hasn't been around since 05 .. The Op has been here in Feb so maybe a PM to him might yield something..
