Titus Octavius Balbus

Born in Tarraco from a Roman patrician (father) and a native Spanish plebeian (mother), Octavius was raised like any proper child was raised. Although he was not surrounded by the traditional slave estates where slaves do everything for you, therefore giving him the "to get things done, you have do it yourself" attitude. Unfortunately, he developed a speech disorder which he would stutter whenever reading from text or speaking from word. This disorder brought much dismay to his youth, his peers taunting him whenever the opportunity arises. Thus why his cognomen is Balbus. However, age has been well to him and he stutters a lot less than before but it still slithers it's way into his words.

After his father died, Titus decided that Roman politics was his true calling, unlike other occupations his mother had suggested him. Leaving the Estate to his mother in Tarraco, Titus settled in a small Domus in Rome. Praying to the gods, he starts his political career.
