Installed the new patch 1.5, doesn't launch

Hello,

I haven't played this game for a while so I cam and installed the new patch. Now the game crashes to desktop when I click to launch the mod/campaign. Was installing the patch itself a bad idea? Maybe I should have installed the other patches first. Honestly I don't even remember which patch I last used, it was in maybe December.

I don't really want to download the hole game again. 60kb/s is painful.

Looking at my history here, last time I played was July of last year.

So I fixed it, kinda. Now the game launches, menus pop up, but the words/labels of the menus are not drawing. So I see buttons and whatnot, but I have no clue what they do because I cannot read them. Any help?
