Default Shogun two doesn't have a 'campaign' folder.

Now I'm a notorious modder. But it's kind of hard to mod when I cannot find the startpos.esf.

I've tried to type in the address manually, but it tells me the path doesn't exist and that I should check my spelling.

The only startpos.esf is in Empire.

Have you asked in the Mod Workshop?

    ???

    There's an ESF editor for S2TW. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=428754

    Oh, and NTW has startpos.esf.

Then there has to be one.

Is it buried in one of the packs? Have you read the thread? I was noticing there was all sorts of programming goodies being tossed about on the first page.

It just looks like to me that there was a source problem or something. They probably fixed it by now.

buried in one of those packs.
    What do you mean?

    What sub-forum for Mod workshop?

As irishron notes, it's buried in the packs. Check out patch15.pack for the latest ROTS and original S2 startpos.esf's and patch_fots2.pack for the FOTS startpos.

They also have the same file path, too. Look for the "campaigns" folder when you open each of the packs.

Thank you irishron and Anton III.

How would I go about saving it? Just press file -> save?
