Averland or Stirland?

I'm stuck in a decision. I cant go 30 minutes without switching back. So I wanted to ask ya'll which ya'll prefer.The diverse units of Stirland are awesome and colors are pretty cool. Averland has the cool Halberd unit and their colors are a cool black and yellow. I don't think their units are that diverse.

I had a great time playing as Stirland so I suggested Stirland even though I never played as Averland.

Stirland is way more difficult than Averland!

As Averland you will be swimming in money and the Chaos armies will not reach you that easily!
Your only difficult task will be to fight the orc invasion what in my case was nearly boring!
I had like 5-6 armies standing around doing nothing when the orcs came... I crushed half of them with the free-upkeep-units... then I saved the game and tried another campaign!

As Stirland I got beaten up quite fast...
I suggest Stirland!

Edit: "5-6 armies" includes the free upkeep units

Averland is the richest faction in the whole game for some reason. You can do some epic invasions with them. Stirland is much harder because of Sylvania right next door and Crom the conquerer leads his armies very close to your borders. Averland looks cooler.

Stirland, because it's hard but that could just be me, i don't really find lots of money to be fun.

I'm backing Stirland too just because of the River Patrol, they're really coooool.

Stirland is too hard for me. I'm rusty at this mod and game. Love the units but, too hard for now. I've lost like 3 times in a row.

as i wrot in an other thread:
"Stirland is the most interesting faction of them all. access to the most advanced faction (empire) with great special-units (for example: Knights of the raven, stirpatrol and all the others) and the best and most challenging (just in my opinion) location in the empire. Sylvana to the east (a hell of an enemy), greenskins to the south chaos in the north (more or less) and beastman everywhere. i tried all empire factions and stirland is the best of them."

just played as stirland again, knights of the raven are the best units of the whole empire. at first they shoot the enemy to peaces and then they trample them down. killed 4 units of orks that way... awesome.

also stirpatrol bowmen and halberdiers are great (even if they are a bit too expensive) and to recommend the deathjacks (for the fluff)

if you want an easy campaign with stir: go fast on sylvania, minimize their empire to only one terretory and you will have a nice and easy campaign. (hint: i send every round a small army to their states so they cant recruit new units)
