Stainless Steel - screen issues

Hey, I'm new to TWC, but I figured I could start off with an issue I've had since I acquired SS.

The version is 6.3, and it works fine. Totally fine. Except I can't work with it because:

1. It doesn't take up the whole screen; the taskbar is still visible.
2. For some reason whenever the loading screen pops up, the window shifts to the left once, permanently. This leaves me with a window that has its left side partially cut off from view and it's really starting to bug me. I can't use my mouse to sweep over the map because I can't physically reach the left side of the window.

I was wondering if you folks had any ideas how to resolve this, because I'd really, really like to get playing. If there's one thing I like about SS already, it's the historical accuracy and the fact that the turns don't take up 2 years each time.

Firstly welcome to SS and thank you for posting in the correct part of our forum.

Does your Windows Screen resolution match that of your MTW2 , if it does not it needs too

Hmmmm...

Well I'm not sure what it was. But I've managed to resolve it. I went into the options list and there was a resolution of 0x0. Thinking I had nothing to lose, I chose that. The game initially froze, but upon restarting it's working fine.
