Toggle Fog of War

Hey I play RTW and BI and a whole host of mods on a Windows 7 computer. I usually like to toggle the fog of war because I like seeing whats happening in the rest of the world. I enabled the console (~) but the only cheat that seems to work is Add_money which is next to useless to me since I can't tell who needs the money (I generally pack weaker factions with cash to keep them alive) since I can't see the whole world map. Does anyone know how I can get rid of fog of war? The toggle_fow thing hasn't worked since I've had a windows 7 and I've just never bothered to try and deal with it until now. Thanks for any help in advance!

I use windows 7 and toggle_fow works perfectly fine for me.
Does the console tell you that it is an invalid command?

As soon as a type the final W of toggle_fow it just erases the command.

That sounds a bit weird. I've never had any problem using the toggle_fow on the Rome Console.

I've used both Windows Vista and Windows 7 (also Windows 98).

One thing you can do is go into your 'preferences.txt' file and change the entry to FOG_OF_WAR:TRUE

If you're using BI this should be the file in "....\BI\preferences" but you may want to change the one in "...\preferences\" as well.
