Let's start with some banalities. Some movies are awesome, others are, well, not so awesome.
But even the most awful movie can have scenes that stand above the rest, scenes that lift even the most "auto pilot" product out of it's grey mass, and makes truly memorable moments.
This thread is dedicated to such scenes. The list is rediculously long, but here are a few of my favourites, in no particular order.

Even though this is an old 70's movie, the square formation scene it's still probably the most epic scene I have seen.
Probably because you know it's real dudes and not playstation 2 Lord Of The Rings CGI. Genuinely impressive scale.
