Marrying Family Members?

quick question , i have a lot of family members that just dont get marriage proposals are there any tips i can get for this problem? thnks ahead of time

It takes years of dating and and getting to know each other before they'll get a marriage proposal. Also, most people want to wait now to advance their career before getting married. Consider this before pressuring your family members into marriage.

Conquer more provinces since this will give room for more potential family members. Do not train generals. In case of your faction leader and faction heir being unmarried you can send diplomats to arrange marriages with foreign princesses (and spies ahead of the diplomats to spot them).

conquer the whole map if you want, your generals still won't get marriage offers; this is the way it is in the late game ... maybe it's a bug, I don't know ... you just won't get any marriage offers later in the game (you'll get only for your female FM ...)

The fact that Tudor the 93rd does not get any marriage proposals should not be construed as a general principle that nobody gets marriage proposals. I do get them, even late in the game. Er... well, my family members get them. Not my real family... the royal family members in the game. Myself, in real life, of course I get a lot of marriage proposals, too, even late in the game, but that is not related to your question. Or is it?

@Tudor93rd: I would be interested if you get adoption offers, though. I have a theory that you get EITHER an adoption offer or a marriage proposal in a given turn, but not both. I have never watched this closely, as I hardly ever run into family tree problems. Expand slowly, but steadily, and do not adopt ever, then everything should be fine.

yep, as I said I get adoption offers; and by adoption I mean marrying my FEMALE FM with some random noble guy (but not with royal blood)
but my single MALE FM won't get any offers; it seems like chicks aren't into them
I had another discussion regarding this topic a few weeks ago; I think in order for my single male FM to get marriage offers first I need to marry all my single female FM; what do you guys think about this 'theory' ?
