How do I download Stainless Steel?

I'm nervous and inexperienced at downloading more complex things such as Stainless Steel. Could some kind soul give me step-by-step instructions, please.

I would suggest downloading 6.3 with the Gamefront links,as it's probably easier for inexperienced "downloaders". (You need 6.3 before downloading patch 6.4)

You need to follow the insructions given:

You must download all the parts (.bin files) and the .exe file into the same folder, then run the application file (.exe). I believe the install path must be ...."SEGA/Medieval 2 Total War/mods" path

It's pretty simple.

Okay, thanks, so far. I clicked on the link you provided and saw the discussion about how to fix this and that but now ... where do I go to actually do the download?

First post of the thread. After the 6.4 download, there's links to the downloads of 6.3, along with 6.3's original download thread

(REQUIRES 6.3 INSTALLATION! )

Installation:

Download the file called SS6.4.exe and run it.
The installer will guide you through the rest of the process.
Remember, 6.3 is required for this, and you must point the installer to the 6.3 folder!
SS6.4 is not savegame-compatible to 6.3.

If you experience severe problems, it might be worth to do a clean install of SS6.3 and then install 6.4 over it!

UAC PROBLEMS
If you are using windows 7 or Vista, you might experience UAC problems while installing this patch.

You must first download 6.3, then download the 6.4 patch.

Well, I'm an experienced downloader and the setup you've used for SS 6.4 has me stumped. It's a royal pain in the a$$. None of the zip files can be extracted with the utilities provided. I use Winrar and it won't work. I downloaded winzip and IT wouldn't work, either. Your installer can't find the .bin files if they can't be extracted, so I have no frickin' idea how to proceed.

All the Bin Files, plus Exe must be in same folder, I would select Exe, Right Click and Run as Admin
