Neutral with the Rebels

So I was just playing my Brutii campaign, and when I finished off the Greeks, they still had a diplomat, so it turned rebel. Then a few turns later (actually many) I get an offer from said rebel diplomat asking for a ceasefire. I accepted the offer quickly before realizing this was golden, so I only got the attached screenshot. However, later on one of my cities rebelled and I was thus at war again with the rebels. Has anything similar ever happened to anyone?

yeah its happened me once before with a roman/rebel diomoplat.

yes it happened to me mate...it is not so commong but it can happen
It must be a RTW bug,that's what I can think now

Once play as the Greeks or the Brutii (don't remember).

I've had it once before a few months back. I just attacked them the next turn anyway, so it didn't last long.
