Video Recording Software

Hello again...(I keep saying that 'this will be the last time that I ask for help'...but here goes again! )

I'm looking for a decent, free video recording software. Something that creates relatively small file sizes (aka, not Fraps...I've heard the file sizes are ridiculously large, and supposedly the free version has a 30 second video limit...which is kinda sucky for what I want) and can record with different quality levels - and also multiple file formats.

I've found this list of free video recorders, just curious if anyone has any experience with them:

I personally use CamStudio for all my screen-capture. Anything you record, though, is gonna be massive until you compress it. You're basically taking 30 screenshots per-second.

Yeah - well from what I've seen/read/heard some programs take less massive videos than others. Will look into CamStudio though.
