Default What went wrong with the siege pathfinding in FotS

Either I'm really missing something, or the pathfinding got screwed over in this game.

Try and move a unit close to the tenshu -> Half the unit wont move
Try and position up against a wall-> the entire unit wont move

Add the stupid bug where they do this half marching step thing and this is just getting rediculous

Is this just me (I've verified twice, but...), or is this FotS?

No, it's not just you (www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=545989) and it's not just FotS.

I got that half a unit moving thing a few times already in a ikko campaign, only got over it by repeatedly ordering them to move some place else

Happened to me quite often as well , some units just freeze and don't want to climb the wall for 20-30 seconds ... i hope CA is aware of it and that they are going to do something about it

One thing I noticed in my last game is that if there are enough units in a battle to slow down your computer, units will start to ignore orders. Probably just not enough cpu cycles to compute everything. This happened to me when an army of mine was attacked in a siege by four full stacks. After melees began, my units no longer registered movement commands to the walls. Clear area was still ok, but anything more difficult than that was out of the question. Ended up losing my 9 honor daimyo due to that, and it was a Legendary republic campaign. Wasn't too happy about it at first, but then I decided it was a gamey tactic by the AI to avenge all the gameyness I had inflicted upon it and accepted the fresh challenge :-)

Not happening in huge batles. 1.5 stacks max normally, which my computer can handle easily. You can also pause on non-legendary games and give orders from there (I hate legendary's utter grindiness)
