I sought of remember it at something like 40.25% for a long time, but the rest of it is being updated about once a month, so i prefer to look at that instead.Originally Posted by Point_Man

Why? more time spent updating some stupid thread is less time spent on cranking out the mod.

Also, it has been updated a few times, just not the total percentage.

Is there point going to war without soldiers? Is there point opening "progress" thread without progress update?
But delayed update is just fine, perhaps monthly update is good for all of us? Or weekly, dos not take longer than 10 minutes.

The progress thread was opened out of the kindness within King Sama's heart. It is not a given right, and I think you're taking it for-granted. Instead of wasting time updating a thread that really has no purpose, they're adding the finishing touches to the mod for which it was created.
Now, instead of complaining and causing problems, I'm sure you can be of more service to the team in this aspect. Unless you intend to volunteer your time and effort towards updating the thread, I see no reason to continue this discussion.

Hmm, nah.
Or, how about you match the average time we at TGW put into making the mod, answering forum questions, and then on top of that making niceties such as progress threads or additional downloads or previews solely for YOUR benefit. There's plenty of work that anyone can do. Then we can talk about us taking an additional "10 minutes".

... So you want a thread 5000000 posts long? Theres so many little things modders do and if they did that for every little thing theyd spend about half there time updating the thread.

-Mod Leader for Shogun 2: Foreign Invasion if you want a mod with alot of units this is for you, not only is there the 40 units CA made theres planned to be atleast 177 NEW units when its done.
-Modder in the World War I and Shogun II project. The only full scale mod for FOTS and it plays nothing like FOTS. FOTS may have Gatling guns, WW1&S2 has tekidanto samurai, SNLF, MGs, kisho snipers, assault infantry(shotguns) just to name a few.

Well i think its harder to update percentage than adding new post, updating percentage you need to count whole teams work, if you add short list of your job, its dos not take longer than 5 minutes (unless you want message to include every detail)
Perhaps this all has been waster of time...?

updating percentage is a very annoying thing so adding anew post is easier by far, but still a waste of time IMO.
