It seems that there will be two enemies this time. Venom (symbiot) and the other one, who becomes sand, I forget his name.

Haha Spiderman is emo. First superman comes out of the closet and now spiderman is an emo cry baby.

I watched the first Spider-Man and I didn't like it. I did not even watch the second Spider-Man movie. I probably won't watch this one either.

The Spider-Man character in the movie is more of a "girlie-man".

I liked the second more than the first... the characters and plot are deeper, and the intensest of the scenes in #2 are more intense than those in #1.

Not 2 villains, but 3 in fact - the Hobgoblin is in it too, though you only saw his alter-ego in the trailer...you know, that kid who wanted to kill Spiderman in film 2, his best friend.

In the cartoons and comics I seem to remember he was fought with...water. Just made his sand all wet and cloggy and he became helpless. Not a very powerful super villain, actually. A lot like fighting the Wicked Witch of the West.

In Spiderman 2 he was using his amazing superpowers to deliver pizza, and he couldn't even keep that job down, and his landlord was threatening to evict him. That's taking 'being a good guy' just a little too far, until it becomes senseless masochistic self-flagellation. Personally I would take the Raskolnikov route of committing just one very profitable crime against someone who really deserves it, and using the freedom that money would afford to fight crime even better. But superheroes are dumb.
