    Default Hands-On!

Well folks, a bit of background on what I'm going to attempt to put here.
I've been a pianist for someodd years now, and starting to get kind of serious in the past year or two.
Earlier this spring, I bought some music composition self help books, I'd read them during school and written out a couple things, but really, the best way to learn is to get your hands dirty. So, for the past week, I've been sitting here with my books, my keyboard, and my computer attempting transcribe some ideas from my head to the staff.
While its just some beginner mumbo jumbo, I figure start taking input now, so if you don't mind, perhaps listen and make comments. They're really short, so don't be intimidated.
What you are hearing is my original notation being read by a computer.
    Thanks in advance,
    -c.j.

    P.S.
If this is the innappropriate place, just lemme know.

I need you to be more progressive. And add some near-silence parts.. that always kicks classical-ass.
And you need cool titles, man! "Keyboarding is not a crime", "Roll over Electric Light Orchestra", "Beethoven was deaf his whole life" etc.
And all your songs need to last at least 27 minutes for anyone to reckon them as a masterpiece.

Quite good, actually. But it sounded strange sometimes, you'll probably get the hang of it soon. It's always comfort that Mozart didn't learn to compose before he was . .. eh..never mind.

Teehee Mozart, well on the other hand, John Williams premiered his first original sonata at 19. A question though, I checked it here, and they sound fine, but at my cousin's house, it seems like the beginnings and a couple other parts are chopped or cut. Did you notice any blip like something skipped?
(I would think that if it streams right on my computer, it was probably just her stream.)

As for length, I think maybe I'd better make some interesting phrases before I skip on into a symphony.

Hmm, thats odd. Oh well, technical issues aside, I guess any way to take input is better than nothing, eh?
