Crash in the middle of battles

I've tried to kill Hannibal's army for three times in the same battle and the game always crashes when I start chasing their units after his army is killed. There's about 13k men in the field at the start of the battle. Also there's some weirdness with the script when I load a save, that I have to go to the ESC menu and click the ?-mark there to even have the script activation pop up when I select a town.

How much RAM do you have, and what is your video card?
Could you also please have a look at the task manager during the battle, and report how much RAM/CPU is used?
