Can someone explain to me the historical evidence for the saddle tree which appears on the Hetairoi Cav. in EB. I know that this game is very accurate but from my personal investigations (which is limited I admit) I have found no support for saddle trees...but I know that there are many that are more learned than I. So if one has an answer please let me know.
