Here is the first preview of the upcoming Gold edition of my mod, that will have all the features of 5.0, all the fixes 5.1 makes, plus more fixes and more added features, mainly graphical touches. It wil also feature fine tuning of unit stats and campaign map settings. Gold will be fully save game compatible with 5.0 or 5.1 save games. Consider it the definitive version of my mod.
Today i will preview 2 of the new features that will be in gold, new settlement and port models, and palm forests, and i will also preview the new faction banners some factions will get.
EDIT:Some of the faction banners and symbols used in this preview are no longer going to be used in TE Gold.

Palm Forests
That last pic brings me nicely onto the next few feature, palm forests. Missing from RTW, thanks to the efforts of the EB team, and TA(sorry can't remember how to spell your name) in particular, there is now a tutorial on how to add palm forests into the game at .org, and i have used that tutorial to get them ingame. This has resulted in me adding in a new custom battle map for Gold, so players can experience the new palm forests themselves without travelling to India or parts of the Nile on the cmapaign map. The custom battle selection screen pic for this map is shown below, and should give some idea of how the map looks, ill have better pics of it in the next preview.
New faction Symbols
Here are the new faction symbols i will be using in Gold, they will be replacing existing ones and are done by Kaweh K.
