Not getting Spartan elites on Spartan campaign

Hey folks,

I've been playing a Spartan campaign and have received none of the 'free' Spartiate or Skiritai units that I believe you are supposed to get at 25 and 50 regions. I haven't had any script error problems (besides the normal errors in some settlements, which don't cause a crash), though my copy of RTR liked to crash a lot before I found a resolution setting that it likes for some reason. The greek reforms kicked in as they are supposed to, so I have pikes as an option now, but I'd really like to have those elites for going up against a very strong Norici faction.

I am currently at 78 regions controlled and was watching carefully for the units to propagate soon after 25 and 50 regions, but nothing showed up. I still have the sole Spartiate unit I started with, which I'm able to retrain (the Skiritai died someplace I clearly wasn't paying enough attention to).

Is there a way to 'make' new ones in order to account for the units I should have received? I'd hate to have to start a new campaign in order to get them, as I'm pretty far along this one and doing well.

Isn't there a console command which allows you to spawn a unit? I don't know the specific cheat code, but you should be able to find it somewhere on the web

Per your advice, I found out how to make the units I should have received. I hated to think of it as a cheat code, more like a counter-cheat code against that dastardly computer AI which denied me the units in the first place.

Also, is it normal to receive the alerts for the other greek faction reforms while playing as Sparta? It seemed odd to get alerts for the Dynasty of Aikides which had the "and you can build such-and-such now" message in it, when that isn't my faction.

I got similar problem,RTW wont let me to train spartan elite units in sparta.(And any other sattelment)
And in gerusia building it says that i can train them but in recrutment i can't find them.But i can retrain them.

That's not a bug, but a feature

In order to prevent you from recruiting unhistorical numbers of Spartans you will get a limited amount of units which can only be retrained. I.e. it isn't possible to recruit new units of Spartans.
