    Default How did rome take that little western part of Greece in 220 BC

    In 220 bc? I couldn't find any battle or anything on Wikipedia, only that they were helping Greece against the Macedonians

    The area I think you are referring to is part of Illyria, and was actually a Roman protectorate after the Illyrian wars

    PS. try to get the idea of Greece out of your head when referring to this point in time, they had shared customs and language, but absolutely no political unification- various leagues that formed in the Hellenistic period were as close as it got

    Are you referring to the annexion (or protectorates) of the two greek cities Apollonia and Epidamnos/Dyrrachium in 229 BC?
