Explosion 1812 - Dan Snows new special

Dan Snow is doing a new series about the war of 1812 premiering this Sunday I believe on history

This only a short while after battle castle general electric must be keeping him busy

Ahh I guess I was wrong its just a special

2 hours long starting at 9pm eastern time

the description says

"Examining how Canada's destiny hinged on the explosion of the magazine at fort york in modern day Toronto during the war of 1812"

I've just been watching this. Its not bad. Its always good to see documentaries about the War of 1812 (There isn't many). One thing I noticed while watching it is that at times they use music from Medieval 2 Total War. I definitely heard the start of the music you hear at the games title screen.

Another thing that made me laugh, was one of my old Archaeology Lecturers is in the documentary too (She used to be at the University of Birmingham until she moved to Canada last year).

The history channel? I must've completely missed it.

Probably they only ran it 3 times I think it was pretty good
