All the units are Rome Total war peasants!!!
So i installed the BC 2.3+2.3.2+ the hotfix and boom! The custom battle shows no other image in the unit cards than rome's peasants for every single unit. And then I go campaign and boom! All my Khwarezm units are rome's peasants too. What did I do wrong??

Re: All the units are Rome Total war peasants!!!
Check if you have the unit cards folder with the files in the UI folder in the BC data folder.

I used the torrent download. In the path C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\Broken_Crescent_kingdoms\data\ui\unit_info\ there is onlu baglah file for every faction and C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\Broken_Crescent_kingdoms\data\ui\units there also baglahs.

Then the installation must have gone wrong as there needs to be many files in the UI folder. Try Re-Installing. If that doesn't work, your download must have gone wrong as I used torrent and my BC is fine.

Re: All the units are Rome Total war peasants!!!
Hahaa! I solved it. I reloaded the hole installation again and now it works. However I've noticed a strange thing: the formations of some foot units are quite loose and akward. Is there a way fix this issue too??

There's nothing to be "fixed", they are supposed to be loose.

Re: All the units are Rome Total war peasants!!!
;formation soldier spacing (in metres) side to side, then front to back for close formation
; followed by the same measurements in loose formation.
; followed by the default number of ranks for the unit
; followed by the formations possible for the unit. One or two of
; square, horde, schiltrom, shield_wall, phalanx, testudo, or wedge
attributes sea_faring, hide_forest, can_withdraw, start_not_skirmishing
formation 2, 3, 2.4, 2.4, 2, square
Make the numbers smaller for a tighter formation.
