When I finally saw the commercial on TV I was like
"Holy! Patrick Bateman. American Psycho 2!!!!"
Then I was all like:
"Morgan Freeman? Wait a minute... BATMAN 3. Damn it. Still good, but damn it."
Bretton Ellis is a sick crazyand I like that.

She's got a lot going for her in the role. She looks kind of silly with the mask on, but that's not what I'm looking at.
I'm not sure if she'll surpass Julie Newmar in the role as "The Catwoman" but it's going to be close.
I like the politics of these movies.
Batman Begins: An American Billionaire vs an Arab Terrorist
The Dark Knight: An American Billionaire vs a Nihilistic Anarchist
The Dark Knight Rises: An American Billionaire vs a Communist Revolutionary
Some of it's from the comic books, but I think Christopher Nolan is doing it on purpose.

Making everything political, and you'd be incorrect in your analisis. Ras al ghul is not an Arab and the league of shadows is international, Tyler Durden was an anarchist, Joker is a crazed psycopath and finally nothing in bane points towards communism, other than the part that he is originally a latina american, so unless you want to add an ideology to him because of his ethnic profile, there is really nothing to suggest he is a communist anything.
Finally, Batman could not be viewed in a positive light even by your analisis, he's crazy, dangerous and instaid of using his money to develop infrastructure, grant jobs, etc. He uses his money to be a vigilante.
The political tints your looking for are not there.
Ras al Ghul is an arab. His name means "Head of the Demon" in Arabic and he was born there. He is by no means a Muslim or an Islamic Terrorist to my knowledge, but the overtones are the same. He is the Osama Bin Laden of the DC universe. The author of the film, David Goyer, specifically mentioned that was what he intended to do when presenting the character to the audience.
I thought the Joker was quite clearly a Nihilist from his dialogues with other characters. He's not crazy, he's a genius with no sense of right and wrong or self preservation beyond an interest in carrying out his next plan. His actions are erratic and seem insane, but I don't think that means he is. His dialogue implies he is a nihilist certainly and I should think an Anarchist. He's attacking Batman as an authority figure who represents good and evil. The joker is antithetical to those things. Plus it's something to do. Like Calvin Coolidge said: "Got to eat somewhere."
You're quite right. I've rechecked. Bane suffered at the hands of communists. That was stupid of me. In that case he's still a revolutionary. Catholicism would be more a factor than Communism if I'm not mistaken. Especially given what little dialogue we have about reckoning and punishment and the fact Bane was raised essentially by a Jesuit priest in a prison.
Bruce Wayne is unashamedly wealthy although he does not see it as the end of his means, but a means to other ends, and he does what he wants and what he wants is helping people. He's not really a vigilante. He doesn't take the law into his own hands. He goes out of his way to risk his life to protect people, survey criminals, gather evidence, and arrest the bad guys and hand them over to the police. He's just being a good citizen. He's not crazy, he's traumatized. At the very least it's an adrenaline rush, at most he's going as far as his sense of duty requires.
What he's doing is little different than joining the police with the express goal of helping people. The difference is that he's self employed.
