Spartiatae question

Hi all (and thank you for the great mod ).
I've got a question about the Spartan Hoplites: they are obviously attainable by Koinon Hellenon, but in the Unit List in the documentation it is stated that they can be also recruited by the Qarthadast. So i have looked in the Recruitment Viewer, but he states that the Spartiatae cannot be recruited by the Qarthadast.
Does anyone know which one of these two affermations is true?
(it would be badass to recruit Spartans with the punic people XQ)

AFAIK, no, they cannot. Qarthadast is listed as one of the factions capable of training Spartans in the EDU and in the Unit List, but AFAIK they lack the actual ability to train them. If you search the ED Buildings file, you only encounter the Spartans once, and they're linked only to the Greeks.

It's because the Carthaginians can get a scripted Spartan general with customized bodyguard if the Romans attack Messana (assuming the town is still held by rebels).
