    I will soon upload my entire M2TW RR/RC2.0 folder, there are just so many changes its impossible at this point to make an install that simply adds onto SS6.4. Its about 5GB compressed.

    Its not 100% finished but its very playable, and what I am most interested in is feedback on RC2.0. Also I can very easily add small patches, because its 99% done.

    It will also provide a resource for other modders to pick and choose from as they wish (stats, animations etc). The tactical combat elements in RC2.0 have IMHO taken the M2TW battle engine about as far as it can go, every single aspect has been updated.

    Also includes all permissible Islamic BC models via Broken Sword mod, with unit stats modified to match units armed and armored as depicted.

    Many other updates such as elite units getting access to new technologies sooner than rank-and-file.

    Optional Submods include:
    -Garrison Script
    -Gracul, Savage, Lusted and Soulson AI
    -BGR2 or 4
    -Deep unit formations (larger unit sizes maintain same frontage but increase rank depth) or Wide unit formations (wider formations but same rank depth)
    -Early or Late Era generals
    -Limited Activities script
    -Longer Assimilation script
    -Next Heir Mod
    -Permanent Arrows
    -Really Bad AI Hardcore (RBAI 5.6 included by default)
    -Real Rebellion
    -Son of X
    -TwinBird's Nobility Mod Early and Late Era
    -Rebel Generals Enhanced
    -Permanent Watchtowers

    Man this comment made me scrutinize this thread for the past 20 minutes thinking a link was buried in here somewhere. Cool man this will make SSMAP much better and also I'll have something to compare 1390 to because I tried to make most of the changes according to 2.0 but I'm sure I missed some things.

    I would love to integrate this with SSMAP. The amount of work seems daunting though.

    Well it would basically mean doing much of the work in SSMAP over again aside from the map which would be the easiest part. New factions might be able to be added relatively easily though tedious while trade resources aren't that difficult. Of course if you imported some other mod units and deleted some of the useless/extra units in 6.4 EDU then it might be much more difficult to make room for new factions.

    I think it would be worth it personally but Ravenant and FP would hopefully see it that way as well but I'm not sure.

    What do we do with that folder? We install it over the current RR/RC Compilation or we need 6.4 for it?

    I don't mean to be a pest, as I know you're very busy, but can you help me with some questions I have about RC 2.0? I sent you some messages, and I also have some more questions about RC in TATW, which I'm trying to update to 2.0 as well. I would like to gain as much of your knowledge about RR/RC as possible in order to make EDU and EDB conversions for other mods and so that if you don't have time to spend on the forums there will be someone who will be able to answer questions about RR/RC and help with possible issues.

    Yes very modified, eg all the BC units. Much easier to keep it separate - that way it limits the damage it can cause to your install too

    Appreciate your work! Medieval total war is not much without RC/RR. The discussions and topics at hand have been enlightening with lots of great posts from all my favorite posters such as you Point Blank, k/t, Ichon, Ferdiad, Polycarpe, RollingWave and many more.

    I have been a member since 2006 and I don't post a lot, but that can't be said about what I read. Keep it up guys! You to PB!

    Its better I just get it out there and people can make use of it and integrate it as they will. RC2.0 is absolutely optimized

    I need someone to make an Estoc 2H weapon to add that unit type, would just be Zweihander with Estoc and Estoc anim set.

    People will like the new effectiveness of firearms. Morale plays a much greater role overall. Lots of new animations that closely depict actual weapon use, better formations, much better depiction of mental stats, slower overall melee kill rate, inceased differentiation between movement rates for light and heavy units, Lancer/Charger/Brawler cav units, updated armor and shield penalties, more realistic projectile accuracies...

    I think PB added Rolling Wave's map.

    I agree with you that we should get rid of the Teutonic Order in the Early Campaign and put in Georgia or Serbia or split the Turks in two. Some rebel armies will be enough to represent the Teutons, considering their negligible impact on most campaigns.

    In the past he said BC units for Muslim factions. I don't know what the permission rules for the BC KOJ roster are, but SS needs a new CS roster. I remember Swagger was working on an Outremer mod but then gave up and released all his work into the public domain. Perhaps there is something there we could pilfer.

    I wish, the BC KOJ units are far superior to anything I have seen. To have all those other great BC units without those would disappoint me.

    We need to see that download to know what PB incorporated... I'm not really sure at this stage. CS roster could be improved though its not terrible it needs a bit less knights and a bit more Pisan/Genoa/Venetian unit while also incorporating Armenians, locals, and even some Muslim/Turkopole AOR units.

    I have the rules for BC borrowing somewhere, they are actually fairly generous compared to some mods and have only a few restrictions depending on who created the units but majority are ok to be used.
