Campaign Freezes in Modded Games

Does it mean anything specific if the game freezes at the moment you click on the campaign start button in RTW Gold, as opposed to the game crashing at faction selection or crashing to desktop when the loading bar is halfway full? Thanks!

It very well may mean something specific. But as your question was vague at best then the best answer you can hope for will also be vague. If you have a specific problem then do the team here a favor and ask your question outright and post all possibly relevant data you can. Thanks from them in advance and good luck!

If the game crashes part-way through the load process it could be that you've not got enough memory (maybe). Mods usually require more resources than vanilla R:TW.

Make sure that you've got the -show_err switch on your shortcut. If the error can be trapped by the exe a message should be shown after you get the error.

Again, as PoleCat has posted - that's the best you can get.

Also - delete all the map.rwm files you can find in the install. These files will be re-created from other file in the data folder and will take slightly longer to start a campaign the first time you launch after a deletion.
