Can't start the Campaign ._.

Hell everyone

I've already posted my question in another thread but I haven't got an answer yet so I deicided to rewrite it here.
My Problem is that everytime I want to start a new Campaign it says "Please select an item from the list", and I cannot start the campaign.....

I'd be glad if you can help me

Have you ran SS Setup, left click icon and run as admin

If I try to start stainless steel on kingdoms it says "Medieval total war 2 has suffered a fatal error and will now exit" ._.

When you installed did you disable your UAC?

If you are using WIN7, click your Windows Icon, bottom left, in search box, key in User Access Control, then move slider to bottom, you probably need a restart after. Then re-install SS, but please clean up and defrag before

Thanks for your help but do you have any explanation for the other things like why it says "Medieval II kingdoms has suffered a fatal error and will now exit" or why the game's still running in the background even if I've quit it?

Its basically a faulty instal caused by UAC being enabled, once its disabled all should be well. When you run Exe, right click and run as admin, same applies to set up too
