I've heard the Nexus is really good but I am wondering about battery life. I'd also like to hear other android suggestions if any.

Galaxy Nexus I definitely recommend. Bought it a few months ago and having been a long time Android customer, it is by far the best I've ever owned yet. Battery is certainly great for an Android phone. If your a heavy user like me then you will be left with about 15% life after a day so be prepared to charge it every night. It's worth noting that with a lot of Android phones, particularly HTC, you run out of batteries before the day is over so although the Nexus battery requires attention every night, it won't leave you cold. If your a light user, you will get away with 2 days without charge.
I have a Galaxy and if battery life is one of your worries, you can get an external battery. You can plug it in and keep using your phone or let it charge on the go. I use this and it charges about as fast my car charger.

This. I'm considering a new phone also and these are the two I would choose between. On the other hand I might wait until fall to compare the new iphone and Windows Phone 8.
Won't be banned, just possibly delayed. Despite the US being Apple's home turf, I don't think they have yet reached the kind of success they have in some European courts where they have banned some samsung products for long periods.

Is there an Android phone out that has a good battery and ice cream sandwich? I keep seeing people complaining about battery life on the Galaxy Nexus

Ok thanks, BTW how do you get an "extended" battery on the Galaxy Nexus? I've decided to get it
