No, EB is no railroad.
You can expect certain events to be happen when the circumstances met (Xanthippos as example).
However, events beyond the campaign map will have their influences.

Does Hannibal invade though ?? Because in my campaign carthage is attacking Egypt made peace with Spain and never trying to land in Italy
It's not very likely for Hannibal to invade from the Alps, then. Carthage and Rome may even stay as allies in your campaign.
