Control Multiple Factions in W:TW
Hi there
Maybe I've made a mistake and post this in another thread. That's why I made this new thread that regards just toward this question.
I was wondering if it's possible to control more than one faction at the same time when playing a campaign mode ( something that i found out it can be done in Medieval II TW, with just changing the multiplayer section in the medieval2.preference.cfg file ). I tried the same code in Westeros Configuration.cfg file but it didn't work out
Anyone knows how to do this?

Re: Control Multiple Factions in W:TW
It's called Hotseat gaming, and it can be accessed by selecting Multiplayer and clicking Hotseat, as in vanilla.

Re: Control Multiple Factions in W:TW
I m sorry but don't follow you :/ When i go to Multiplayer there's no hotseat, just Lan Battle or Online Battle.
My question was if there's a way to go in campaign mode, and select 1 or more factions there (who i can take the control over from the AI to Human (me) anytime in the campaign). The command line was change <factionname>. That's what's not working for me
But if there's another way to do this I am happy to hear about it with more detail explanation since I don't know what hotseat or vanilla is :S

Re: Control Multiple Factions in W:TW
there should be a button called "Hotseat campaign" below "Lan Battle"

No, there isn't :S
I've installed Medieval2, Kingdoms and Westeros v.053.
Is there something I'm missing?

Re: Control Multiple Factions in W:TW
you already mentioned you got the updated info in your config. just to confirm ill post what I put in my config so when the AI attacks me it doesnt auto-resolve the battle. I had a lot of fun playing a Stark/Tully campaign.
Westeros.cfg; after the [multiplayer] section;
[hotseat]
autoresolve_battles = 0
disable_console = 0
disable_papal_elections = 0
save_prefs = 1
update_ai_camera = 1
validate_diplomacy = 1
turns = false
scroll = false
[misc]
## specify the name of the save game to automatically load when Medieval II is launched
# bypass_to_strategy_save = game_name.sav
