I'm down to 50 turns and I was wondering if there's a way to modify my saved game to add more. I'm taking a slow approach and need more time.

You can continue playing past the ending turn, but if you have not achieved your victory conditions before that occurs then you will not be granted a victory. The ending date for the campaign can be changed in the descr_strat.txt file, before you start a campaign.

I dont think it save game compatible. But you can edit how many turns you want in a year. Also how many turns you wanna play.

U won't be able to play your saved game if u want to change ending year or number of turns per year. If u want, and if I get permission, I can upload a few txt. files which u can copy paste in your game and have 12 turns per year instead current 4. But they are not save game compatible and u have to start new campaign.
