Legion help

First off I just installed this MOD and I'm loving it so far. Its been over a year since I've fired up RTW. Good job on the MOD it looks beautiful. Ok now for my question. I want to recruit Comitanse(sp?) or Plumbatarri(sp?) without having the legion name attached to it. Everytime I try to recruit a Roman unit it comes with a legion name. Is there anyway to recruit Roman units without the legion name? I only want one with the legion name and the rest just generic. I hope you get what I'm trying to say, its really late and I'm tired. Thanks for the help.

1) open up export_desc_unit.txt
2) look for the line "legionary_name" and remove it

Don't get me wrong I LOVE the legion names. It great remembering which legion took Briton, defeated the Huns, etc... I only wanted a few select units to have the legion name.

I Installed V.5 and the fix 5.03 over clean rome TW and Clean BI V.6 and can't start a campaign or custom battles or even quick battles

did u upgrade to v 1.6? clean BI is v1.4 and incompatible with the mod.
@Legion names,
am using 223 of 255 (?) possible slots for DMB, what to put there...

hmmm... what was your install path? did u install it to root folder? '...Activision\Rome-Total War'?

also, which mirror did u DL from? will try to DL and install said file.

Personally, I prefer only the first cohorts to have the legion names. It felt silly to have 10 cohorts of the same legion but with multiple numbers. I'm commanding legio III Augusta, not legio III, XIX, I, IX Augusta, etc... I'm thinking of maybe adding legionary_name to the recruitable general unit, to see if it works. I think it would be neat, showing a general's solidarity with a particular legion and all.

thats a good idea actually, im working on a pet project of my own taking ideas from various other mods around and incorporating them into my own, with some success, thanks for the idea

in EDU, u add/remove the entry 'legionary_name' to enable disable legionary name on spawn, legionary name is determined by '...\world\maps\base\desc_regions.txt'
